Connected by Netball is our purpose. Planet Netball exists to connect and champion everyone who loves the game, from the courts to the stands. We back the game, celebrate success, and spotlight what matters, today and beyond.
Our work is guided by three values: Jump at opportunities, Move ideas forward, and Pass it on. These principles shape how we strive to connect the hyperglobal netball community, working alongside governing bodies, teams and stakeholders for the good of the game and the people in it.
HOW IT STARTED
Planet Netball was founded in 2010 by Harriet Millard, whose dedication to raising the profile of netball has been at the heart of the project since day one.
After the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Harriet expanded her career across sport and other industries, bringing back valuable commercial and strategic expertise that now strengthens Planet Netball’s driving mission. In 2023, Harriet contributed netball coverage to The Telegraph, reaffirming her commitment to high-quality storytelling within the sport.
HOW IT'S GOING
The ambition to help Netballers become cultural icons transcending Netball, underpins Courture - Planet Netball’s digital magazine at the intersection of fashion, culture, lifestyle and Netball. Planet Netball is committed to responsible journalism and follows the Editors’ Code of Practice, striving for accuracy, fairness and integrity in all our reporting.
This relaunch marks the start of a bold, new chapter. We are not here to conform, but to create an open space for bold and brave ambition. The future of netball is more connected than ever, and Planet Netball stands within that energy.
