With nearing 80,000 signatures at the time of writing, Netball Australia want to get up and over 100,000. Speaking to Nine News Australia, Ellis said it would be “game-changing” if netball were to be an Olympic sport at Brisbane 2032.
“We know that almost 70% of Australians want to see netball in the Olympics and in fact 40% of Australians think that we're already there.”
“Organizers are really keen to make the Brisbane 2032 Olympics the best games ever and we know that as a sport we can bring that massive community feel to the Brisbane Olympics and help to make it part of the best games ever.”
