Brooke, set to assume the role in March 2026, told Planet Netball of his gratitude for the opportunity:“I am truly grateful for the confidence shown in me by the Executive of Netball South Africa. It is a privilege to be entrusted with leading an organisation that plays such a vital role in the lives of so many South Africans.”

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the sports industry, Brooke has built a strong reputation in commercial strategy, major event delivery, sponsorship management, and organisational leadership.

Throughout his career, he has worked across multiple sporting codes and international platforms, developing partnerships with key stakeholders and rights holders.

Brooke also expressed a clear commitment to supporting athletes, coaches, administrators, and volunteers at every level of the game.

“I am excited to work with the netball community to build on the strong foundations already in place and to help drive a future that is inclusive, professional and focused on excellence both on and off the court."

NSA leadership has welcomed Brooke’s appointment, describing it as a strategic move that reflects the organisation’s ambitions for sustainable growth and international competitiveness.

As South African netball looks to build on recent progress, Brooke’s arrival is expected to bring renewed momentum and a fresh perspective to the sport’s future direction.
